Coming from a family where the members pursued the sciences and medicine, I guess you can say I always felt a bit like the odd man out.
I studied Illustration at the Center for Creative Studies: Detroit, MI, with further studies at the Academy of Art: San Francisco.
I believe in adapting my approach to best serve the needs of each assignment rather than imposing a prescribed solution or style.
I was fortunate enough to have an Ad campaign I illustrated receive the Dalton Pen Award of Excellence.
Also, I’m told I do a pretty good William Shatner impersonation.
Looking ahead, I would like to pursue writing my own works to illustrate.
